Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has invited applications for free residential coaching for UPSC civil services exam 2020-21 on its official website. Candidates will be trained and prepared for both prelims and main exams. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the website at jmicoe.in or jmi.ac.in. The last date to apply for the training is June 15.

This free training class aims for candidates belonging to minorities, SC, ST community, and women.

Students must have to pass an entrance exam which is held in six centres across the world, namely, Delhi, Srinagar, Lucknow, Guwahati, Bengaluru, and Malappuram.

Those who clear the examination will be called for an interview. Based on the marks secured in the test and interview round, the final selection will be done.

A total of 208 seats are available of the total seats, 10 per cent will be reserved for those candidates below 24 years of age. Moreover, seats will be reserved for physically differently-abled candidates, as per varsity norms.

The coaching classes will consist of topics on general studies, CSAT, and selected optional papers. Test series, answer evaluation and essay writing practice would be part of the free training. Mock interview practice for candidates who qualify the Main exam.

The dormitory will be provided to the candidate (if any). The hostel rooms are free, but a mess fee of Rs 3000 will be charged. The exam fee is Rs 650. Those wishing to receive a monthly bulletin will be charged an additional fee of Rs 200.
