South West Delhi’s Janakpuri saw AAP candidate Rajesh Rishi won with a margin of 15,006 votes. Rishi defeated Congress’ Radhika Khera and BJP’s Ashish Sood to walk away with a win.
Rajesh Rishi bagged 67,756 votes (54.49%) followed by BJP’s Ashish Sood who bagged 52,750 (42.42%). Congress got a mere 2,064 votes in this constituency.
Congress has won this constituency six times out of the nine Delhi elections. Whereas AAP has won this constituency two times and JNP has won one time.
