Coronavirus Pandemic has seeped into many spaces now. It has killed many lives throughout the world, infecting almost 350 lives and leading to 7 deaths in India.
Amidst so many directives at both state and central level seeking to protect public, one such plan was to enforce a curfew named Janta Curfew, where people were under a temporary lockdown from 7 am to 9 pm to stay strong and follow social distancing to beat the COVID-19.
After an enthralling ‘5baje5minute’ segment in evening phase of Janta Curfew, people slammed their utensils hard in showing strength, solidarity, unity in being strong and capable to defeat COVID-19. The Janta Curfew in a way was a symbolism of strength of the people of the country.
On Sunday PM Modi tweeted and further cautioned the public that the Janta Curfew does not end in a day and further attempts must be done of social distancing to counter coronavirus
Here is an ANI tweet stating PMs advice of prolonging Janta Curfew for our safety:
PM: #JanataCurfew will end at 9 pm but it doesn’t mean we should start celebrating. It’s the beginning of a long battle. People shouldn’t come out of houses in states which have announced a lockdown. In rest of the states if it is not very important don’t come out of the houses. pic.twitter.com/RxQoIs3gyp

PM Modi states we have to prolong Janta Curfew by respecting lockdown in states where there are lockdowns implemented and not stepping out of our houses if not necessary for states that haven’t.
