Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admit Card Class 6 update: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is going to release admit card soon for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2020 for class 6 admissions on the official website.
According to the official notification that was released along with the application form, the admit card was supposed to release on December 1, 2020. Until now, NVS has not announced regarding releasing of hall tickets.
The active download link will shortly be provided on the website. Candidates need to enter their usernames and passwords to download the admit card.
The selection process for class 6 admissions in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas is scheduled to be held in two phases. The exam date for phase 1 is January 11, 2020, and phase 2 is April 11, 2020.
For phase 1, the date of release of the admit card was supposed to be December 1, 2019, and for phase 2 it is March 1, 2020.
The candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without admit card. The exam will be conducted in a pen and paper mode comprises of three tests; mental ability test, arithmetic test, and language test.
The mental ability test will consist of 40 questions that carry 50 marks and should be completed in 1-hour duration. Then, the arithmetic test will consist of 20 questions which carry 25 marks and should be completed in 30 minutes duration. The language test will consist of 20 questions that carry 25 marks and should be completed of 30 minutes time duration. The exam will comprise of 80 questions which carry 100 marks and to be done in 2 hours duration.
A total number of 27,77,504 students had applied for JNVST for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti class 6 admissions. NVS has selected 46,400 students for admission to class 6 in 630 JNVs across India.
Currently, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is also accepting applications for class 9 lateral entry admissions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by December 10, 2019, at nvsadmissionclassnine.in.
The selection process for class 9 admissions has been slated for Saturday, February 8, 2020. The previous year, 3,819 students were selected for admissions through lateral entry in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
