Patna: Janata Dal-United Vice President Prashant Kishor won the round one of politics in much anticipated Patna University Students’ Union Election. Prashant Kishor who is famously known as PK ensured that Chhatra JDU (CJDU) candidates achieved victory for two key Central Panel posts.

Patel said, “PK trained us how to fight and win the election, and it was a phenomenal change in the organisational approach.”
Shyam Patel also stated that over the years transparency was missing from the PUSU polls and this year this is a remarkable change.
CJDU State President further said, “This year election was conducted with transparency and we had a strong candidate who had some genuine students reach, and it helped us in getting the victory.”
As per CJDU Vice President Vikash Kumar, the missing link between the main party and student body was finally rectified and PK stood firm as a backbone and was there for us whenever we needed his guidance and support.
Kumar said, “PK has given us the much-awaited support which was missing from the organization and his election strategy is impeccable and we learnt a lot from him before going to the election.”
Kishor held several rounds of meeting with the youth and student wing of Janata Dal-United ever since he is made the National Vice President of the party.
“Though he never came for our campaigning, his valuable inputs were followed religiously by every party member and it helped us to counter the ABVP’s heavyweights who tried to malign his reputations during the election,” said Vikas.
Vikas also credited Kishor of being responsible and always ready to address the problem which was lacking in previous year elections of Patna University.
He said, “In our first meeting PK told us to prepare against the major opposition ABVP and we worked accordingly and today the result is the answer to everyone’s apprehensions.”
