One of the toppers of JEE Main 2021 February Session, Chandigarh’s Guramrit Singh Kalra has secured (almost) his place in the JEE Advance 2021. The boy from Chandigarh scored the perfect 100 percentile to secure his position.

Sharing his key to success, Kalra said that he likes to keep the balance between study and play. He follows a strict regime for studying while ensuring that he gets enough time for play and doing fun activities as per Times Now.

Kalra dedicated 2 hours in the morning for physics, 2-3 hours for Chemistry in the afternoon, and at the night, he studied Mathematics. Obviously scoring 100 percentile requires great dedication and time management along with stress handling.

To manage this stress, Guramrit ensured that he took out 2 hours every day to play cricket or football with friends.

Kalra has always been a brilliant student in the 10th class he scored 97 percent and has also qualified for various National Level exams including NSCJS, NSCEA, NTSE Stage-2, KVPY, and RMO.

Speaking on the pandemic and the consequent lockdowns, Guramrit said that it helped. “I was able to save time traveling and could devote that extra time to studies. Furthermore, the online classes from Allen helped as I could get my doubts clarified from the faculty,” he shared to Times Now.

Kalra’s dream of finding a place in IIT landed him in Kota.
