JEE Main 2022 Exam date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main 2022 exam date soon. Students should note that the NTA will announce the JEE Main 2022 Exam date on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

While the JEE Main 2022 will be conducted as an online exam in four sessions- February, March, April and May, the application form for the February session is expected to be released by the end of November or in December 2021.

Eligible candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the eJEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria given below.

JEE Main 2022: Check eligibility criteria

Age limit: While there is no age limit for JEE Main 2022, candidates must have passed class 12 in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022 will be eligible.

BE/BTech: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with physics, mathematics, and chemistry/biology/biotechnology/technical vocational subject.

BArch: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with mathematics, physics and chemistry.

BPlan: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with mathematics.

JEE Main 2022: Marking pattern

Candidates should secure score 75% marks in class 12 for admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.

In case for admission in BArch/BPlanning courses, the required percentage is 50%.

While this criteria was relaxed from the last two years on account on COVID-19, there is no update of any relaxation this year. However, candidates will have an option to appear in all four sessions of JEE Main 2022. This apart, the All India ranks of the candidates will be prepared by considering the best score out of the attempted sessions of the candidates.
