JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026:The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the release of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card official. This is the moment that has been awaited by literally thousands of hopeful engineers all around the country. With this, the applicants who registered for the January session of the JEE Main 2026 can finally get their hall tickets from the web portal which is jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main admit card is an important document for the candidates, as it is the only way for them to enter the examination hall, and without it, they can’t get in at all. The admission cards for this year have been made available only through online means, the NTA does not deliver physical hall tickets through the postal system. Applicants have to log in using their application number and either their password or date of birth, then download the PDF and get clear-printouts so they can carry one with them on the day of the exam.
The admit card shows very important things like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift time, the place of the test centre, photograph, and the main instructions for the exam day. The candidates are expected to check all the details very carefully and also have some extra copies for backup purposes.

1. Go to the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the Session 1 Admit Card download link that is visible on the homepage.
3. Type in your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.
4. Finish the CAPTCHA and click submit.
5. Get the admit card PDF and print several copies.
Exam Schedule and Important Dates
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be taking place from January 21 to January 29, 2026, at different test centres in India. The exams for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be conducted on several days with shifts, and each candidate will have to be at the exam site at the time indicated on their admit card.
Session 1
- Admit card release: Third week of January 2026 (3–4 days before the exam)
- Exam dates: January 21 to 30, 2026
Session 2
- Admit card release: Last week of March 2026 (3–4 days before the exam)
- Exam dates: April 2 to 9, 2026
NTA has also previously issued the city intimation slip along with the admit card, which has been very helpful in providing the candidates with the location of the exam centre.
