In a shocking turn of events, a nephew strangled his aunt to death in Sasanga village of Sadar police station area. It is alleged that he wanted to have an illegal relationship with her but the woman opposed it. Hence, the young man murdered the woman.
However, the police have arrested the accused Kala Bhuyan from the village itself.
It is said that the husband had gone out of his house. His wife, Mano Devi, was alone at home. Taking advantage of this opportunity, his nephew, Kala Bhuyan, reached her house and tried to rape his aunt. When the woman protested, the furious nephew murdered his aunt by strangling her.
The villagers reported the incident to the Sadar police station. As soon as the incident was reported, divisional police officer Virendra RAM and Inspector of Police co-SHO Amit Kumar Gupta rushed to the spot and took information about the incident.
The police have handed over the body to his family after the post mortem.
