The bookings for Jio smartphone will start on Thursday, 24 August both online and offline. Reliance Jio will officially start taking pre-orders for the 4G phone. However, the time for the registrations is not known, so it is best to check the MyJio app and Jio.com website for such details. One with no access to online can check nearest offline authorised Jio retailers.

Aadhaar card must:
According to a report by Gadgets 360, you will need a copy of your Aadhaar card to make bookings. Only one unit can be booked per person. If you want to make bulk orders, you need to provide organisation’s PAN or GSTN number.
Delivery dates:
JioPhone will be delivered between 1 September and September 4 to consumers who will make early bookings. The company had said at the time of unveiling the phone, it aims to deliver around 5 million (50 lakh) units per week across India.
Security deposit:
JioPhone is free, but it requires the user to make an upfront payment of Rs 1,500. However, it is refundable after three years.
