JNTU to hold final year exams 2020 for engineering & pharmacy courses; Check details

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, JNTU, Hyderabad will be going to hold Final Year Exams 2020 for engineering and pharmacy courses. The JNTU final year examination would begin from September 16, 2020, onwards.

In a letter released by the Director of Evaluation, JNTUH, V Kamakshi Prasad it was stated that the university will be conducting examinations at the campus. The JNTU University has also decided to hold the fourth year second semester exams for the BTech and BPharm courses.

JNTU Final year exam 2020: Precautions taken to hold the exam

  • The University will take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of students as they will come to varsity for exams during a pandemic. However, the university has still not released the precautions to be taken,
  • As per media reports, students will be thermally screened before taking the exams.
  • The use of sanitizers and face mask is mandatory while appearing for the exam.
  • But students who will be appearing for the exams are not convinced by the decision of the university to hold the examination.

State president of the National Students Union of India Venkat Balmoori has filed a PIL case in the High Court against the conducting of the examination. Balmoori said that the case is still with the court and the university cannot take any decision ahead of the verdict.

JNTU has extended the deadline to apply for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, TS EAMCET 2020 till August 31, 2020. The revised dates will be released by the Telangana government soon.
