The month of June is special for the Hindu community as fasts and festivals like Nirjala Ekadashi, Ganga Dussehra, Vat Purnima, Mithun Sankranti, and Vinayaka Chaturthi, Yogini Ekadashi, Pradosh Vrat, Rohini Vrat, Masik Durgashtami etc fall in this month.

Also, this month there will be Nirjala Ekadashi on Saturday, 11th of June, which is also known as Bhimseni Ekadashi. It falls on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) during the Shukla Paksha in May-June. Hindu people believe that People who observe fast on this day go to heaven after death.

Vinayaka Chaturthi June 2022 date
Every month, Lord Ganesha’s devotees observe a fast and perform Puja during Madhyana on the Chaturthi Tithi, Shukla Paksha. This year, Jyestha Vinayaka Chaturthi will be celebrated on June 3.
Mahesh Navami June 2022 date
The Maheshwari community celebrates Mahesh Navami on the Navami Tithi of Jyestha, Shukla Paksha. They worship Lord Mahesh (Lord Shiva, also hailed as Mahadev). This year, the festival will be celebrated on June 9.
Ganga Dussehra June 2022 date
The Dashami Tithi Jyestha, Shukla Paksha, marks the descent of the mighty river Ganga on earth. This day is also known as Gangavataran. Devotees shall pay tribute to the sacred river on June 9 this year.
Nirjala and Yogini Ekadashi Vrat June 2022 date
Lord Vishnu’s devotees shall observe the Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat on the Ekadashi Tithi, Jyeshtha, Shukla Paksha. Therefore, people abstain from drinking even water on this day. Hence the name Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat. This year, Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat will be celebrated on June 11. Likewise, the Yogini Ekadashi Vrat is observed on the Ashadha Krishna Paksha. This year, Yogini Ekadashi will be celebrated on June 24.
Gayatri Jayanti June 2022 date
According to one school of thought, Gayatri, the Goddess or the Mother of the Vedas, came into being on the Ekadashi Tithi, Jyestha, Shukla Paksha. Hence, this day is referred to as Gayatri Jayanti. This year, Gayatri Jayanti will be celebrated on June 11.
Pradosh Vrat June 2022 date
Lord Shiva devotees observe a fast from sunrise to sunset on the Trayodashi Tithi (thirteenth day) of the Lunar fortnight and perform puja during Pradosh Kaal. Hence the name Pradosh Vrat. This month Pradosh falls on June 12 and June 26.
Kabirdas Jayanti 2022 date
Poet, philosopher and saint Kabir Das was born on Jyeshtha Purnima Tithi. Hence, people shall celebrate his birth anniversary on June 14 this year.
Vat Purnima Vrat June 2022 date
Married women observe a day-long fast to pray for their husband’s well-being. This day is a tribute to Devi Savitri, who tricked Lord Yama (the God of death) into restoring her husband Satyawan’s life. In north India, Vat Savitri Vrat will be observed on June 14. This festival concurs with the Full Moon Day (Purnima Tithi, Jyeshtha).
Krishna Pingala Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat June 2022 date
The Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat of the Jyeshtha, Krishna Paksha, as per the Amavasyant calendar and Ashadha, Krishna Paksha, according to the Purnimant calendar, is known as Krishna Pingala Sankashti Ganesh Chaturthi. Devotees observe a day-long fast from sunrise to moonrise and break it only after sighting the moon. This year, it will be kept on June 17.
Ashadha Amavasya and Ashadha Navratri June 2022 date
Ashadha Amavasya falls on June 29 this year, and on the next day, devotees shall observe the Ashadha Navratri vrat.
