#JusticeForRailwayStudents emerges as India’s top trend on Twitter

 #JusticeForRailwayStudents update: The hashtag – #JusticeForRailwayStudents – has now emerged as the top trend with over 3 million tweets.

The hashtag is an attempt to draw the Railway Recruitment Boards’ attention to some major issues that students preparing for Railway exams have been facing for at least 3 years. The students also urged the Railway Board to conduct the IRMS Exam at the earliest.

They demanded that the Railway NTPC and Group D training and joining dates be announced along with exam dates for the group D railway exam and new vacancies in Railway.

Here is what the netizens shared on Social Networking site Twitter.

“Even after having all the required skills and qualifications the people aren’t provided with jobs due to the incompetence of the govt. This is massive destruction of the human resources.

“For how long the students have to wait for railways to conduct exams?

How many more twitter campaigns demanding fair and timely recruitment?

On Wednesday, several candidates, who had applied for the RRB NTPC and RRC group D recruitment exam, ,their requests to expedite the railway job selection process with #JusticeForRailwayStudents by tagging railway ministry and railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Twitter.

The candidates are in a fixed as close to 5 months after the completion of the exam, RRB NTPC candidates have not been given any official word on the result declaration. This apart, there is no update on the RRC group D exam date.

 

While the RRB NTPC and RRC group D recruitment were announced in February 2019, more than 2 crore candidates have applied in these exams in total.

It is learnt that the last update on RRB NTPC result was announced on August 31 when the railway recruitment boards (RRBs) had asked the candidates to claim refund on fees. Before that, RRB NTPC answer key was released.

While the latest update on the RRC group D exam was announced on November 26, more than 2 years later, where candidates have been informed that they can modify their application forms in case it has been rejected, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has said that a modification link will be generated soon to facilitate the process.
