The popular Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kehlata Hai’ continues to rule Television screens. After the successful completion of Naira and Kartik’s love story, the show brought a new twist with Sirat and Kartik.
Now the show is all set to bring in Sirat’s love interest. As per reports in TellyChakkar, Karan Kundrra will be entering Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Shivangi Joshi aka Sirat’s love interest.
The show recently went through a massive change where Naira’s character came to an end and fans got emotional.
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, she spoke about her reaction when she got to know about Naira’s end.
She had said, “I think everyone on the sets knows about my first reaction when I was being narrated Naira’s death sequence. Mohsin was also there, we were together while hearing the narration. I started crying, I wanted to stop my tears and I tried my best to control my emotions but I couldn’t control myself. Even Rajan Shahi sir asked me why are you crying but I had no answer. While rehearsing I was choked because of the emotions.”
Meanwhile, Karan Kundrra was last seen in Dil Hi Toh Hai Season 3. The actor also hosted MTV Love School with then girlfriend VJ Anusha Dandekar. The couple broke up in April 2020.
