Congress leader and minister of health education & irrigation in Karnataka government DK Shivakumar on Wednesday stated that, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has no interest in seeking the vote in the name of Prime Minister Modi, as state BJP leaders have understood, PM Modi is unfit to become the Prime Minister of this great country.

“The BJP local leaders are seeking votes in Yeddyurappa’s name in Shivamogga and Srimamulu’s name in Ballari. They have forgotten Narendra Modi. Yeddyurappa and Srimalu are responsible for bypolls as they are power hungry”, DK Shivakumar told media in Shivamogga.

“They failed to pressurise the central government for farm loan waiver, but Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy waived Rs 46,000 crore farm loan” he added.

Shivakumar further said that, as Union government has failed to control the price rise of several commodities. The voters would support Congress in upcoming by polls, he told reporters.
