Karnataka excise minister Nagesh refuses to resign, says BJP betrayed him

Karnataka excise minister Nagesh has been in the headlines for quite a time, one of the reasons was that he was accused of seeking a bribe of Rs 1 crore for a transfer, to which the excise minister said that he was being targeted for being a Dalit.

Karnataka excise minister Nagesh has been in the headlines for quite a time, one of the reasons was that he was accused of seeking a bribe of Rs 1 crore for a transfer, to which the excise minister said that he was being targeted for being a Dalit. Now as more problems in the life of Karnataka excise minister Nagesh occurs, he has refused to resign.

A congress backed independent MLA, Nagesh has defected to BSY camp in July 2019. Says that he was defected for a ministerial berth and the BJP has betrayed him because of which he has declined from resigning from his post of Karnataka’s excise minister. It is said that he will be dropped in today’s cabinet expansion.

Talking about the alleged 1 crore bribe case on Nagesh, he has said that this is false and baseless, he is being targeted because of being Dalit. He has also said that he would file a defamation case against Kumar and his family members who have made the whole case of being seeking bribe and the other saying he is being targeted because fo being from a low caste.
