A shocking case was reported from Karnataka where a woman was tied to a pole in Kodigehalli district of Bengaluru on Thursday for allegedly not repaying the loan.
The video of the incidence was shot by the passerby. In the video, the woman can be seen tied to a pole and the residents of the area are standing near her. As reported by the news agency, the local police have arrested seven people.

The woman was identified as Rajamma (36). She was allegedly thrashed by the villagers as she had cheated them of Rs 12 lakh.
As per the reports, the woman settled down in the village a few years back. She has allegedly taken a loan from several villagers and started a hotel. But she suffered losses and didn’t return the money. After the lenders asked her for the money, she fled from the village some months ago.
According to the police, villagers got the tip off the woman that she was in Dharmasthala and traced her down on Wednesday. She was brought back to Kodigehalli on Thursday. The lenders and the villagers tied her to the pole and assaulted her.
The police are probing the matter and a case has also been registered.
