Kasautii Zindagii Ka actor Pracheen Chauhan has been arrested by Malad Police in Mumbai under molestation charges, as per reports in Spotboy E.
Reportedly, the actor has been charged with sections of the Indian Penal Code- 354,342,323, 506(2). However, more details on the case are yet to be revealed.
The actor is allegedly taken in custody by the police under some severe charges of molestation. The entire entertainment industry is shocked at the moment, but everyone is anxiously waiting for further details regarding his arrest.
Senior inspector at Kurar police station, Prakash Vele, said, “The woman approached us and alleged that Pracheen Chauhan touched her inappropriately in an inebriated state.”
“We have registered an FIR under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the accused from his house,” Vele told mid-day and refused to divulge further details.
Pracheen made his television debut with the Star Plus popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Subroto Basu. He was also part of shows such as Kuchh Jhuki Palkain, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Saat Phere and more.
