KEA Will Use Best of Two Marks for KCET 2025 Rankings
Right now, KEA is going through the updated marks that students sent after their PUC 2 Exam 2 results. Many students are still sharing their “Best of Two” scores, which means they want KEA to pick the best marks out of their two attempts. These scores will help decide their final KCET 2025 ranks. This gives students a better chance to get higher rankings if they scored better the second time.

Students Can Raise Objections After Result is Declared
If any student sees a mistake in their KCET result, they can challenge it. KEA allows students to report errors in their result sheet. But they must do it within three days after the results are announced. If someone finds wrong marks or any issue with their score, they should quickly check everything carefully and then contact KEA with their complaint.
KEA will look at all the objections and only accept the valid ones. Once that is done, KEA will release the final corrected results later.
Candidates can raise objections for:
- Missing rank on KCET 2025 result sheet
- Qualifying examination marks
- Version code of the KCET question paper was incorrectly marked

The KCET 2025 rank is determined by giving equal weightage to both CET exam scores and Class 12 board exam marks. Specifically, 50% of the rank is based on the marks obtained in the CET exam and the remaining 50% on the marks secured in the Class 12 (PCM/PCB) board exams, applicable for Karnataka state board students.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will soon activate the KCET 2025 result link. Students can check their results on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Candidates are advised to keep their registration number ready to log in and download the KCET scorecard once the result link is active. Stay tuned for real-time updates.
If candidates find any discrepancies in their board marks as listed on the KCET 2025 scorecard, they are advised to immediately contact the KCET helpline. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will provide an option for students to raise objections once the results are officially declared.
Yes, securing a rank around 10,000 in KCET 2025 is considered a decent score. With this rank, students can expect admission into private colleges like NMIT, DSCE, or JSSATE for branches such as Computer Science (CSE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Information Technology (IT).In government colleges, students may get branches with lower demand depending on seat availability and category reservations.
