KCon in Saudi Arabia: Super Junior, a South Korean boy band, is getting ready to perform at the well-known K-Pop music festival KCon in Saudi Arabia on October 6 and 7.
On October 7, the group will take the stage. Its members are Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

According to Shindong in an interview with Arab News, the group is anticipating “appropriate fandom culture. I’m hoping that musicians and listeners will collaborate to improve society,” he remarked.
According to Donghae, who will be playing in Saudi Arabia for the first time in a while, he is excited to hear the fans’ ovations once more. I want to perform in Saudi Arabia as soon as possible because I know how well-liked K-Pop is there.
He made a pledge to his fans: “We will make you happy and (give you) precious memories — as much as the time you waited.”

Siwon expressed his desire to work with regional artists in the Kingdom throughout the conversation. “I sincerely hope that this will occur. I think cooperation in the area of cultural exchange is a positive step forward for both nations,” he remarked.
Leeteuk was shocked to see that K-Pop is popular throughout the Kingdom. “I was shocked and moved once more by their fervour. I’ll do everything I can to earn back their fervent affection,” he promised.
“We will be able to show you Super Junior and Super Junior-D&E’s performance together, so you will be able to see the charm of our diverse music and performances,” Eunhyuk, who will perform twice at the event expressed.

Super Junior is managed by the South Korean company SM Entertainment, which also oversees the careers of EXO, SuperM, and Red Velvet.
Riize, Everglow, Highlight, Hyolyn, Kard, Super Junior-D&E (composed of members Donghae and Eunhyuk), and 8Turn will all perform on the festival’s opening day.
Super Junior will play on the second day together with Dreamcatcher, El7z Up, Evnne, Oh My Girl, Tempest, and TNX.
One of the biggest Korean cultural events worldwide is reported to be this one, which began in Los Angeles in 2012.
A contract between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Seoul-based entertainment business CJ ENM, which would organise the event in the Kingdom, was inked in June 2022. It also reflects the ministry’s initiatives to encourage cross-cultural interchange in line with Vision 2030 objectives.
