‘Kesari’ featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role is based on the true story of one of the bravest battles that India ever fought – the Battle of Saragarhi. The movie will be releasing in theatres on March 21. The teasers and trailers of the movie have created a lot of buzz on social media as it was highly appreciated by the fans.
With over 20 million views in 24 hours since its release, the trailer of Akshay Kumar’s “Kesari” has piqued interest about the historic Battle of Saragarhi of 1897.
Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. The film also features Parineeti Chopra, Mir Sarwar, Vansh Bhardwaj and Jaspreet Singh in the most pivotal roles.

Kesari is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Sunir Kheterpal under the banner of Dharma Production, Azure Entertainment, Zee Studios and Cape of Good Films. The movie is directed by Anurag Singh.
Akshay Kumar starrer is releasing on Holi which can boost the box office collections of the movie as it has a holiday release. The movie is expected to make around Rs 28-30 crore on its opening day and will continue to rake up money at the box office. Kesari can also feature as one of the biggest hits in 2019.
