Kunal Kemmu Single Papa: Kunal Kemmu steps back in front of the camera after directing Madgaon Express. This time he stars in a light and funny Netflix show called Single Papa. The series comes out in December 2025 and promises a very silly and warm story full of surprises. The show is co-directed by Shashank Khaitan, Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj Udhwani. Khaitan earlier made films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Dhadak and Ajeeb Daastaans.

The show will come on Netflix on December 12, 2025. Many people online are already excited because Dayanand Shetty appears in the show as a male nanny. Fans know him as Inspector Daya from the very famous TV show CID. His new look and role shocked many people in a fun way and made the show even more interesting.
Kunal Kemmu plays Gaurav Gehlot, a man who tries very hard to prove that he is mature after a painful divorce. He adopts a baby even though he is still trying to grow up himself. This idea feels a bit like Akshay Kumar’s Heyy Babyy, but we have not seen anything like this for almost 20 years.
Cast and Story of the Series
The cast includes many familiar faces. Along with Kunal Kemmu and Dayanand Shetty, the show features Isha Talwar, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Prajakta Koli and Murali Mali. Ayesha Raza plays Kemmu’s mother, Manoj Pahwa plays his father and Prajakta Koli plays his sister. Each actor adds a different flavour to the story.
The story follows Gaurav who adopts a baby only to show his family that he is a responsible man. But the real question is simple. Will the Gehlot family stand with him and help him raise the child? Or will he have to make a very tough choice about the baby?

The trailer is 2 minutes and 45 seconds long and begins with a heated divorce scene between Kemmu and Isha Talwar. She calls his character a man-child and says he still takes pocket money from his father. She also says he does not even try to earn for himself. These scenes show how broken their marriage has become.
Soon Gaurav tries to act grown-up and adopts a baby to prove he is not childish anymore. At the same time, he fights his own habits and tries to think like an adult for the first time. Neha Dhupia enters the story with a strong role. She says she will not allow Gaurav to adopt the baby and will stop him “at any cost.”
