TV actor Kushal Punjabi’s sudden demise has left the industry in shock. The actor who was 37 years old has reportedly committed suicide and was found hanging at his Mumbai residence last night.
Kushal’s close friend Karanvir Bohra and Chetan Hansraj both confirmed the news to an entertainment portal and also revealed that it is a case of suicide.
The Bandra police said on Friday that they found a suicide note from the flat in which read, “There is no one responsible for my suicide.”
Also, the police revealed to a media portal that “We recovered a suicide note in which he has written that no one should be blamed for his act. We are conducting an inquiry.”
The news of Kushal’s death was revealed by his friend Karanvir Singh Bohra on social media. Kushal’s close friend Chetan Hansraj is not able to come to terms with the loss and is in a state of shock.
While in conversation with an entertainment portal, Chetan said, “Yes, it is a suicide. He was going through a separation from his wife and he was also down with a sickness. I still can’t believe that Kushal is no more with us. I spoke to him a couple of days ago and he discussed with me that he was disturbed. I tried telling him that things happen in life and he should just fight back. But I never imagined that he will take such a step. It is heartbreaking.”
Chetan and Kushal have known each other for last 20 years and the former says, he will always remember him as a fighter. He also shared that Kushal’s body has been taken for post mortem and his funeral will take place by today or tomorrow.
