Leopard enters Gujarat assembly, 100 forest officials deployed

A stir created on Monday early morning after suspected entry of a leopard in the Gujarat assembly premises in Gandhinagar. A team of 100 forest officials has been deployed with tranquilizers, to catch the leopard and all the official work has been stopped due to the operation.

The forest department has also installed cages near the whole assembly and it is believed that the operation to catch the leopard would be completed in the afternoon. According to the news reports, the leopard entered through the gate number seven of assembly. In view of security, the movement of people in the secretariat has been stopped.

In the CCTV footage, the leopard can be seen entering the secretariat by crawling under gate number 7.
