Linkin Park’s lead singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide by hanging himself. The famed singer was found dead in Los Angeles, on Thursday. He was 41.
Chester’s body was found before 9 am in the morning. The case is being probed as a suicide but no confirmations have been made yet. Chester was married twice and had six children.
The news was out by Bandmate Mike Shinoda on Twitter and a flurry of tweets followed.

Linkin Park sold 10 million copies of their 2000 debut, Hybrid Theory. Another 4 million was sold with 2003’s multi-platinum Meteora. Both albums were about feelings of frustration and fury.
Bennington has a known struggle with drugs and alcohol.
