Lisa Frank was born in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on April 21, 1955. Her father, a collector of art, introduced her to contemporary artists like Peter Max. In the 1970s, she pursued art at the University of Arizona. Sticky Fingers, which subsequently became Lisa Frank, Inc., was founded by Lisa Frank when she was only 24 years old. It was well-known for its brightly coloured designs on school supplies, lunchboxes, and decals.
Her company’s artwork features rainbow and flamboyant hues in addition to stylized depictions of dolphins, pandas, and unicorns. In the 1980s and 1990s, her products, which included toys and Trapper Keepers, were popular among females in elementary and middle school. In 2017, Frank and Reebok collaborated to produce two limited-edition leather Reebok Classic shoes. Formerly, the company’s headquarters were in Tucson, Arizona. The business no longer produces its own goods. Since 2018, the company has licenced its name to lesser organisations.
Frank married James A. Green in 1994, who served as president and CEO of Lisa Frank Incorporated from 1990 to October 2005. She petitioned for divorce in September 2005, however. Hunter (born in 1995) and Forrest (born in 1999) are their two sons.

Her proposed amusement complex
Frank once expressed a desire to construct a theme park based on her characters, as well as to expand her franchise into numerous product lines. She has multiple ideas for the theme park, which she aims to implement one day.
The history of her characters
According to Frank, several of her characters have histories. Markie, the mythical unicorn who resided above Frank’s Fantastic World in the clouds, is one of these characters. Markie enjoyed collecting stars, investigating clouds, and going on excursions.
