The moment Jaya Sinha stands up for herself, her world is flipped upside down. She runs an upper-middle-class home in Lojja. It has been a constant source of misery for her spouse Partha’s verbal abuse, from frequent insults to mental agony in both public and private settings.
After a night of intense pursuit through the deserted streets of Kolkata by the explosive Partha, Jaya decides to stand firm after much introspection in the confines of her bedroom. After that, things start getting tough. As a result of Jaya’s tenacity and will, Koneenica Banerjee’s lawyer begins to believe in and support her client’s vision.
The series will explore Jaya’s determination to remain independent and dignified despite societal judgment, public shame, disdain, and even insults from her own family.
