Lok Sabha Elections: Shah Rukh Khan appeals fans to vote by singing a rap song

Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has appealed Indians to vote for the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections by singing rap in his latest music video. The song has been titled Karo Matdan. In it, the actor has highlighted the importance of voting for choosing your own representative.

The song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, written by Abby Viral and Shah Rukh Khan has sung the song himself.

Last month, PM Modi has urged the Bollywood fraternity to creatively urge the people to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. It seems the actor has finally reacted to PM Modi’s appeal and released the song as a creative attempt to urge people to vote.

Shah Rukh took to social media to share the video saying, “PM sahib @narendramodi ne creativity ki liye bola tha. Main thoda late ho gaya video banane mein…aap mat hona Vote karne mein!!! ‘Voting is not only our Right, it is our Power.’ Please Use It. Thank u to @tanishkbagchi @abbyviral @parakramsinghr

The song is to aware people of their social responsibility and it also exhibits the importance to vote. Apart from the message, it is also a treat for the SRK fans to see him singing and rapping.

On the work front, the superstar was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Anushka Sharma & Katrina Kaif. However, the movie turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Also, the actor has not signed his next project yet.
