As Durga Puja nears, preparations are in full swing for the best festival, especially in West Bengal. Newly elected Trinamool Congress MP’s Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty features on a theme song for Durga Puja.
The MP’s are seen dancing to a Durga Puja song for a TMT bar company and the video of the same is now going viral. It has garnered over 1.5 million views on Facebook alone.
In the video, the two of them, who are also popular stars of the Bengali film industry are seen along with another top actor Subhashree Ganguly. They both are all decked up and are dancing their heart out in the video.

The song is titled ‘Ashey Maa Durga Shey’ and it is a part of a campaign for the brand’s initiative for the festival which falls on October 3 to 8 this year.
The music has been composed by popular Tollywood composer Indraadip Das Gupta while it has been sung by a host of artists from both India and Bangladesh, including Rupankar Bagchi and band Dohar among others.
Also, the dance choreographed by Baba Yadav and it includes Bengal’s traditional Chhau Dance, a tribal art form that originated in the district of Purulia.
