Lucknow: Out with her friends, girl loses cool after cops ask her for driving amid lockdown

The country is currently witnessing coronavirus nation-wide lockdown and there have been strict restrictions going on but the violators have been continuously defying the lockdown.

A girl, who was out with her friends for a joyride in Lucknow during the lockdown, loses her cool when cops asked her for a valid reason for driving out. She even threw things out of the window at cops. The girl, who initially showed tantrums, later broke down after officials asked her to return.

Lockdown has been imposed across the country till 3 May in India in order to control and minimise further spread of the deadly coronavirus that has infected over 20000 and took over 650 lives in the country.

The nationwide tally of confirmed infections crossed 20,000 with new cases reported from various states and the death toll crossed 600, the Union Health Ministry officials said. The recovery rate has improved to 17.5 per cent and a record number of 705 patients were cured and discharged on Monday itself.

For instance, police are now conducting checks at Delhi-Noida-Ghaziabad border areas, which have been completely sealed with the exception of essential services. Gujarat has now become India’s third state after Mumbai and Delhi to report over 2,000 cases.
