As per the media report, the lockdown was imposed when the lorries were on the way to the godown. From March 22, many lorries loaded with the various materials were stuck midway. Many lorries are parked near the Coconut complex at Mamam.

The lorry workers who are stranded here have been demanding security from police and excise. But nobody took action to provide security to the workers and the vehicles loaded with various materials.
As per the locals, the CCTV cameras in the nearest buildings will be helpful for police to nab the culprits.
