Maamla Legal Hai 2 OTT Release Date: The legal courtroom comedy show which people know as “Maamla Legal Hai” will bring its second season after the first season brought popular success. The series will start its second season on April 3 2026 after its first season reached successful results.
The show will return its original cast to the upcoming season together with social media personality Kusha Kapila who will play Naina Arora. The creators shared her entry to the show, which has caused fans to show curiosity because her character will bring new unexpected and funny qualities to the courtroom scenes.
Maamla Legal Hai 2 OTT Release Date
Netflix has confirmed that Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 will premiere on April 3, 2026. The announcement emerged through a teaser and promotional campaign which revealed the upcoming return of strange lawyers from the fictional Patparganj District Court.
On March 5, Netflix shared a teaser on Instagram, confirming the return of the Patparganj gang. The caption read, “Ab pata chala Delhi ke langooron ka raaz Patparganj ki atrangi toli jo laut rahi hai. Watch Maamla Legal Hai: Season 2, out 3 April, only on Netflix.”
The first season of the show debuted in 2024 and quickly gained popularity for its humorous portrayal of everyday legal battles and its satirical take on India’s lower court system.

Kusha Kapila Joins the Cast as Naina Arora
Kusha Kapila will join the main cast of the show through her new role in Season 2. Kapila will play the role of advocate Naina Arora who will create chaos in the courtroom through her witty online persona.

Kusha Kapila revealed that Patparganj Court brings her to a place which feels like. She said, “Joining the world of Patparganj feels like finding the right bench in a crowded courtroom. Stepping in as Naina Arora allows me to be part of the madness in the most ‘legal’ way possible. Get ready, because we’re making sure you don’t stop laughing!”
Ravi Kishan Returns
The second season of the show will again feature Ravi Kishan who played the extravagant lawyer V.D. Tyagi during the first season. The upcoming season presents a significant transformation of his character development.
Tyagi will now perform his duties as a judge instead of handling legal cases through his work as a lawyer which requires him to operate from the courtroom’s opposite side. Tyagi’s journey to prove his suitability for the judge’s position will result in fresh disputes and funny courtroom decisions along with strange courtroom incidents.
Returning Cast and New Additions
The first season cast will bring back multiple actors who join Ravi Kishan and Kusha Kapila for another performance. The following actors will appear in the show:
