Ranchi: After lot of back and forth, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha working president Hemant Soren announces seat sharing among Mahagathbandhan parties consisting Congress, JMM, JVM and RJD. alliance in Jharkhand.
RJD yet to say yes to the one seat being given to it. Congress to contest 7 seats, JMM to contest 4 seats, JVM two seats. Cong wants RJD to fight from Palamu seat.
Congress to field their candidatesin Ranchi, Dhanbad, Chatra, Lohardaga, Khunti, Hazaribagh and Chaibasa. JMM on Dumka, Rajmahal, Giridih, Jamshedpur. JVM to contest on Godda, Koderma. RJD has been offered Palamu seat.
The ruling BJP has also entered into a pre-poll alliance with AJSU parrty in the state.
The saffron party will contest 13 seats and AJSU, formerly known as the All Jharkhand Students Union before it registered as a political entity, from the Giridih Lok Sabha constituency.
Polling is due in Jharkhand in four phases from April 29.
