Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition: Mahindra has brought a new kind of excitement to the Indian EV market by launching a Formula E-themed version of its BE 6 electric SUV. The company wants to give everyday drivers a small taste of the thrill people feel in Formula racing.
Mahindra offers this new BE 6 Formula E Edition in two versions, called FE2 and FE3. The FE2 starts at Rs 23.69 lakh and the FE3 starts at Rs 24.49 lakh, and both prices are ex-showroom without the charger and installation cost. Mahindra says its “Add to Cart” tool will go live on December 14.

When will Booking start?
Bookings will begin on January 14, and the company will start deliveries on February 14, 2026.
Bold New Look Made for Racing Fans
Mahindra gives the BE 6 Formula E Edition a very different face compared to the regular model. The SUV shows a fresh front design with round projector headlamps that stand out right away.
Mahindra also puts a new bumper on the vehicle, and it carries a glossy black bezel that gives a sharp and sporty look. The design also takes ideas from race tracks. The FE3 rides on big 20-inch wheels shaped with a motorsport vibe, and the Firestorm Orange brake callipers make them look even more bold. The FE2 uses smaller 19-inch wheels but still holds the sporty look.
Mahindra adds faux skid plates at the front and back, and both plates get a shiny liquid metal finish to make the SUV look strong. The company also adds small sporty details like a roof spoiler and a lip on the boot. You can also see Formula E badges on the front quarter panels.

The car comes with a fixed glass roof that wears the special 12-stripe graphic. At night, the SUV lights up the ground with night trail carpet lamps. Mahindra gives buyers four colour choices named Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, and Stealth Black.
EV Power With Long Driving Range
The BE 6 Formula E Edition sits on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which is built for modern electric cars. The Special Edition comes with one power setup that uses a 79kWh battery. This battery sends power to a single motor placed at the rear, and this motor makes 286bhp. Mahindra says the ARAI test gives the SUV an impressive range of 682km, which means drivers can travel long distances without worrying too much about charging.
The platform can also handle fast charging. The battery can jump from 20% to 80% charge in about 20 minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger. This quick charging speed makes the SUV more useful for people who travel often.
