The power-packed teaser of Mahesh Babu produced film ‘Major’ has been unveiled on Monday. The film stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role who will play the role of Indian army officer Sandeep Unnikrishnan who lost his life in 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.
The film is slated to release on July 2.
While the Hindi teaser will be launched by Salman, the Telugu teaser will be launched by actor Mahesh Babu and the Malayalam version by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran on April 12.

The teaser will take you to the flashback of horrifying terrorist attacks in Mumbai. The video opens to various montages ranging from a child hoisting a flat, Sesh in army training and concludes with the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. A voiceover in the background proclaims what it means to be a patriot for a soldier.

The Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu also took to Twitter and shared the teaser of the film. Sharing it, he tweeted, “An attempt to honour the legacy of an unsung hero… The start of a MAJOR journey!! Hope you all like it! #MajorTeaser.”

The film also stars Shobhita Dhulipala as an NRI Pramoda, trapped as a hostage. Sobhita Dhulipala on Friday unveiled her look in the upcoming film Major. Introducing her character on Instagram with an image, Sobhita captioned, “I am Pramoda in #MajorTheFilm. I think of her as a lion-hearted lullaby.”

About Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan:
Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was an officer in the Indian Army serving in the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. He lost his life in action during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.
The 26/11 hero died after rescuing the injured commando and then rushed up the stairs deciding to take on the terrorists alone. He was awarded the Ashoka Chakra posthumously.
