In a shocking incident, an inmate who was serving a life sentence on charges of killing his wife died under mysterious circumstances in Dibrugarh Central jail on Wednesday, October 9.
The deceased has been identified as Baban Upadhyay Tiyari, a resident of Dibrugarh’s Moran Bamunbari region.
According to sources, the deceased was awarded a life imprisonment by the court for allegedly murdering his wife in the year 2007.
