A short while ago, the CBI arrested Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam. After arriving at the heavily-barricaded CBI office earlier today, Sisodia was questioned for approximately eight hours.
Sisodia, the primary accused in the CBI FIR, was questioned on October 17, a month before the agency filed its charge sheet on November 25, 2016. The CBI did not name Sisodia in the charge sheet because the investigation against him and other suspects and defendants was ongoing, according to officials.
