March 2026 Car Launches: March 2026 is going to be a busy month for car buyers in India. Many new cars are coming, from budget SUVs to expensive luxury models. One big return is the Renault Duster. This SUV was stopped in 2022, but now it is coming back on March 17.
Renault Duster

The new Duster will have two turbo petrol engine options. One will be a 1-litre engine that makes 100 hp. The second will be a bigger 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine that makes 163 hp. Both engines will get a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.3-litre version will also offer a 6-speed DCT automatic.

Later in 2026 around Diwali, Renault is expected to bring a hybrid version. This one will use a 1.8-litre engine making 109 hp along with a 49 hp electric motor and a 20 hp hybrid starter generator. Together the total output will be 160 hp.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class

On March 2, Mercedes-Benz will relaunch the V-Class in India. This luxury MPV was earlier discontinued in 2022. The new version is basically a refreshed model of the earlier one.
Globally, the V-Class comes in different seating layouts like 6 seats and 8 seats. For India, the company has not yet confirmed which version will come. Internationally, it is offered with both petrol and diesel engines, but the India engine details are still not announced.
When it goes on sale, it will compete with luxury MPVs like Lexus LM, MG M9 and Toyota Vellfire.
Audi SQ8

Audi has launched the SQ8 on March 17. This SUV sits between the normal Q8 and the more powerful RS Q8. It uses the same 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine as the RS Q8 but it is slightly less powerful.

The SQ8 produces 507 hp and 770 Nm of torque. The RS Q8 makes 640 hp and 850 Nm. Power goes to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Audi says the SQ8 can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Skoda is also bringing an updated Kushaq in March. The facelift version will get a fresh look and a more premium cabin. It will also offer a panoramic sunroof and massaging rear seats which is new for this SUV.
The 1-litre turbo petrol engine makes 115 hp and now comes with an 8-speed torque converter automatic. The bigger 1.5-litre turbo petrol makes 150 hp and continues with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Toyota Ebella

Toyota is expected to announce the price of its Urban Cruiser Ebella in March. This car is based on the Maruti e Vitara but has Toyota badging.
It will come with two battery pack choices. One is a 49kWh battery producing 144 hp. The other is a 61kWh battery producing 174 hp. Toyota claims the smaller battery can give up to 440 km range. The bigger battery can give up to 543 km range as per ARAI numbers.
