Mark Cuban’s Vaccination Stand: The text exchange between industrialist and investor Mark Cuban and journalist Layah Heilpern, in which he refuses to grant her an interview until she receives a vaccination, has gone viral.

A screenshot of Heilpern’s text messages shared on Telegram revealed that she initially requested an interview with Cuban in March 2021. Then, he merely told her he was “swamped” and to contact him again in May.

According to the screenshot, the next time Heilpern spoke with Cuban was in August 2021. She stated that she was “keen” to have him on her program to discuss cryptocurrency. “When you get vaccinated and tell others to do the same, I will come on,” he responded.

However, Heilpern persisted, saying, “No problem, that’s fine, you’re entitled to your opinion. However, you’re more than welcome to come on my show and inform me why I should get vaccinated and tell others to do the same. And I will debate and challenge you on this point. I believe this will be very interesting, particularly since no one is willing to engage in an open dialogue about this topic.”

“Not my proposal. If you are not doing it, I will not. Your decision,” Cuban responded, rejecting her interview offer yet again.

Heilpern became inquisitive about the source of Cuban’s information regarding her vaccination status. “Hey Mark, out of curiosity, where did get this information on my vaccine status? She wrote, “I don’t recall ever sharing that personal information or having a ‘antiivax’ option,” to which Cuban may or may not have responded.
