Gaurav Kapur was born in New Delhi on 11 April 1981. He studied at Mount St. Mary’s School, which later called him one of its noted students. After school, he went to Sri Venkateswara College under the University of Delhi. During these early years he started liking media and stage work.
He began his career through radio, then moved to TV. He worked as a VJ on Channel V and also acted in a few films. His biggest success came when he started hosting cricket shows. He became very famous through the IPL, where he hosted Extraaa Innings T20 and other match programs. Later, he made his own show Breakfast with Champions, where he talks with top sports stars in a relaxed way.
On the personal side, Gaurav married actress Kirat Bhattal in 2014. Reports say the marriage ended around 2021.
