65-year-old Love Guru from Patna, Matuknath Choudhary, who retired as head of Hindi postgraduate department at B N College in Patna University (PU) on Wednesday, wishes to get married again.
Matuknath, who had married his 30 year younger student Julie in 2006 but divorced last year, was given a grand farewell at the college yesterday where he asked his well-wishers and students to find a suitable bride for him.
Soon after his farewell ceremony, not too old Matuknath said, “I am a 65-year-old boy. I will do what is done at the prime of youth — marriage.”
Later he took to the Facebook to inform his followers and friends about his new mission in life — finding a new love interest. He wrote a long post on his Facebook page titled ‘Chadti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani’, where he claimed that he is still very young as a man and hopes to marry again.
The Hindi professor claimed that he has been receiving several marriage proposals from women but he was taking time as he wants to marry the right one.
He added, “I am a disciplined, shy and tradition-loving boy. Thus, I would not talk to interested parties myself. I will send them my guardians, who are my students. I will do whatever they’ll recommend for me.”
Matuk, who stays alone in an apartment at Shastri Nagar, had been in the news mostly for his love affair. His earlier love interest Julie, who is now on a spiritual quest, left him a year ago. Matuknath was 51 and Julie 21 when they met in 2004. Choudhary said that Julie lived with him for almost a decade but she got detached with the worldly affairs and left on a spiritual quest in 2017.
