Meet, Nagratna Sunil Ramgowda, a courageous woman from Belagavi who has been giving hopes to the hundreds of hopeless people around Karnataka. Nagratna had no idea how her destiny will take a turn when she was told that she and her husband are HIV positive.
The doctors had clearly told her that she cannot survive more than three months. And now, it’s been over a decade. In the span of 12 years – from the time Nagratna got to know about her illness to now – a lot has changed.
In an interview with Newscode Karnataka, Nagratna talked about her journey, how she overcame the ordeal, gave birth to a healthy child and how she is making other people with HIV positive to lead an optimistic life.
