The police booked two persons on Tuesday for raping a 15-year-old Nepalese girl for the last 28 months.
It is reported that the case was registered after the girl’s father approached the Jind women’s police station and complained that his daughter was raped repeatedly by a poultry farm owner in a Hisar village his accomplice over the last 28 months.
The girl’s father speaking to TOI, said that his daughter delivered a baby at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, on July 5.
He added to it that they came to know about the pregnancy a few months ago but the accused threatened them that he will kill them if they reported about the matter.
A few months ago, he left his farm along with his family and started working at another farm in Jind. He further said that they did not lodge an FIR but did approached police after his daughter delivered baby.
Police station in-charge Sheela Rani said, ” The girl has revealed how she was raped by the accused for the past 28 months. They beat her up and her parents, when they raised their voice against it.
