New Delhi: Mob with sticks in hand attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s convoy on Friday. As per the early reports, the incident took place in North Delhi’s Narela where he had gone to inaugurate development works in unauthorised colonies in the region.
The attacker reportedly attempted to break the window of Delhi CM’s car.
Chief Minister’s Office has stated that no casualties accrued during the incident.
This is not the first time that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was attacked. In the past, there have been several attempts where the 50-year-old Kejriwal was attacked with chili powder, ink and even slipper.
During his election campaign, Kejriwal was once slapped by a man during a roadshow in Delhi. The roadshow was passing through Dakshinpuri area of south Delhi when the man climbed on to the open in which Kejriwal was travelling. The man then slapped and punched Kejriwal.
