Sharing new ‘Super 30’ posters on the eve of Teachers Day last week might have been a successful promotion campaign for Hrithik Roshan, however, the netizens always find their way crawling to the world of memes for every new event happening in the country.

After Anushka Sharma’s ‘Sui Dhaga’ memes, Hrithik’s Super 30 is the topic of many memes. What’s interesting is that this time, memes have dug a political route, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi on the posters, linking it with 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Lapping up the ‘Super 30’ posters, several Twitter handles modified the poster’s look. Original poster featuring Hrithik Roshan along with the caption “Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahi Banega” was replaced with the image of Congress President Rahul Gandhi and, was linked with his ancestral political chain.

In other posters, several Twitter handles modified the poster’s look replacing Roshan’s image and embedding Modi on it. Retaining the film’s red-hued poster with the tagline — “Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahi Banega” – netizens captioned the poster – “#bharatkibaat”, “Fir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”. The tagline suited the BJP’s charge against the Opposition Congress of being a “dynastic party”.

Upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Super 30’ featuring Hrithik Roshan in the character of mathematician Anand Kumar, is slated to release on January 25, 2019. The film had recently announced that due to many controversies surrounding the math wizard, they were going to reform their promotional strategy to package the story as one which revolts against the system rather than being an inspirational biopic on Kumar.
