Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Kozhikode, Kerala at BJP’s National Council Meet. The BJP supremo talked about elevating poverty and unemployment, while he trained his guns on Pakistan by calling them a nation run by terrorists which exports terrorism. He also addressed the Pakistani leaders by telling them that the ‘sacrifice of the 18 jawans killed in Uri attack would not go in vain’. This is the PM’s first public address after the September 18 terror attack that left 18 Indian soldiers dead at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Here are the top 15 points made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech at Kozhikode, Kerala –

1.   Kerala has an impression of purity and holiness; it truly is God’s own country

2.   The government is devoted to the poor

3.   There is one nation in Asia which is associated with terrorism

4.   Whenever terrorism takes place across Asia, the affected nations only blame one country

5.   Terrorism is the enemy of humanity. We need to join hands to defeat it

6.   Terrorists should hear loud and clear that India will never forget the Uri attack

7.   Our brave soldiers have fended off 17 attempts by fidayen attackers sent from our neighbour

8.   Their leaders speak the script written by terrorists and talk about Kashmir

9.   In the last few months, our soldiers have killed over 110 terrorists which is the highest in recent years

10. Want to tell people of Pak- your leaders are misleading you by talking about Kashmir. They can’t manage what they have  created and they talk about Kashmir

11. India exports software, Pakistan  exports terrorism

12. I want to remind the citizens of Pakistan that they were part of our soil before 1947

13. I am ready to fight, come forward and let’s fight to see who defeats poverty and illiteracy first

14. Let leaders of Pakistan hear clearly, the sacrifice of our jawans will not go in vain

15. We have decided to mark this as the year of Garib Kalyan
