South actor Meena is celebrating her birthday today and has turned 46. The actor has been a part of all South languages and is continuing in doing so. Now, on the occasion of Meena’s birthday, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal took to his Twitter page and wished the actor.
Not only this but he also announced that she will be reprising her role as Rani George opposite him in the sequel to their 2013 hit film, Drishyam.
Mohanlal posted a throwback photo of Meena in which she is seen wearing a red printed saree and a purple blouse and matching bangles. She is seen smiling sweetly for the camera on the sets of a movie. The Lucifer actor captioned the post by tweeting, “Happy Birthday Meena and Welcoming you to the sets of #Drishyam2 #HappyBirthdayMeena”.

On his 60th birthday, Mohanlal shared a teaser announcing Drishyam 2. The teaser also has a caricature of Mohanlal’s character holding a shovel as shown in the climax of the first instalment.
Director Jeethu Joseph who directed Drishyam will also be helming the sequel. The Hindi remake of Drisyham starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Shriya Sara in lead roles.
