“You don’t need feathers to fly when you possess determination”

The aforementioned quote has been proven right by a man named Deepak Sharma who in his fourth attempt achieved 783 rank in the recently declared UPSC examinations result. Deepak, who is a son of a fruit seller, started his education from Patna. However, his hard work and perseverance got finally paid off when the results were announced.

After attaining education at ‘Kendriya Vidya Mandir’ and ‘Navodaya Vidyalaya’, he was admitted into TRMP high school in 2004 for his class X education. Later on, he joined JLNM college to pursue his inter-school and graduation. Deepak, being the youngest of the three sisters, also took care of his father’s fruit selling business.

Speaking to LiveBihar, his elder brother, Pappu Kumar, said, “after passing the 7th standard, Deepak started helping his father with the fruit business while managing his studies on the side”.
