A group of people vandalised a hospital in Indore after the death of a RSS leader Himmat Rathore due to alleged medical negligence.

A video footage showed an angry mob destroying furnitures, breaking glass panes and overturning stretchers at the Gokul Das Hospital.

Rathore, 40, was diagnosed with a cancer rash in his mouth by a doctor at Gokul Das Hospital. The doctor had advised surgery to cure the rash.   He died on Friday at the hospital where he was admitted for operation in his mouth.

The police have registered a case against the hospital and sent the body for post-mortem.

Interestingly, the attacks against hospitals by patient’s kin are increasing in the recent days. Few days ago, doctors in Maharashtra have been beaten up by angry relatives of patients.

The doctors subsequently had gone on a strike and the case was heard in the Bombay High Court. The court had ordered state government to ensure safety to them at hospitals.
