A shocking incident had surfaced today. A 40-year-old mother had allegations of kidnapping and murdering her daughter’s married lover. Times of India report, further states four people helped her in the crime.
The main accused Geeta Shettiyar was arrested and the police are hunting for other culprits. The decomposed body of the man matching Babu’s description was found in Shahapur. Babu was allegedly in a relationship with Geeta’s daughter and she had asked him to keep a distance from her daughter.
Babu’s family filed a missing report on December 20, when the victim Babu didn’t return home.
Geeta and the other four alleged accused took Babu in an auto-rickshaw, strangled him and dumped his body at a desolate place. His decomposed body has been sent for post-mortem and police are probing the matter to nab all the culprits in this case.
A similar incident also happened a few days ago, a 20-year-old man was killed with stones and paver blocks for wearing headphones which he was waiting for his bus in Mulund.
